8-day tour of Masuria
Warmia and Masuria is a region full of charm, magic, interest but above all captivating nature. Plains, rolling hills and meadows. Sparkling lakes, numerous rivers, streams and canals which is defined by postglacial knolls, thick brush, immense forests where people live many kilometers apart from one another.
The unique flora and fauna are not only qualities to attract tourists. This land’s long and stormy history is testified by the number and character of cultural remnants. From burial mounds dating back to 2500 years ago, ancient Prussian settlements, mysterious sacrifice altars. Followed by numerous buildings and ruins from Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Baroque Era and up the technical achievements of the 19th century.
The good tourist infrastucture perints a wide choice of accommodations. Rent a forest cottage or a room in a farm house, go camping, stay at a pension or luxury hotel.

1st Day
Szczecin
Arrical to Szczecin. Check in. Dinner and overnight.
2nd Day
Szczecin-Gdańsk
After breakfast sightseeing in Szczecin with guide (eg. St Jame’s Cathedral and realy nice panoramic view of the city from the Chrobry Embankements, a boulevard running along the Order bank, then trip to Gdańsk over Koszalin and Słupsk. Arrival to Gdańsk. Check in. Dinner and overnight.
3rd Day
Gdańsk
After breakfast sightseeing in Gdańsk with guide Once called Aurea Porta – the Golden gate of the Commonwealth – Gdańsk is proud of its thousand year old history. Very representative of Gdańsk architecture are: the Royal Way, the Artus Court, Golden House, Neptune Fountain, Gdańsk Crane and St Mary’s Church. A real masterpiece is the Oliwa cathedral with the famous organ used for organ music recitals and festivals. Then transfer to Sopot.
Sopot is a major health-spa and tourist resort destination. It has the longest wooden pier in Europe, at 515,5 meters, stretching out into the bay of Gdańsk. In the evening dinner in the famous old town restaurant in Gdansk. Overnight.
4rd Day
Gdańsk-Masuria district
After breakfast transfer to Malbork / Marienburg Castle – the biggest Gothic castle complex in the world, with ar area of approximately 21 hectares is considered to be the biggest brick building built by human hands – castle complex in Malbork was inscribed on the prestigius UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1997.
After sightseeing transfer in the beautiful medieval city Bartoszyce. Dinner and overnight in the hotel Bartis.
5th Day
Masuria district
After breakfast transfer to Swięta Lipka/Heilige Linde well-known Shrine of the Holy Virgin and also one of the most valuable Baroque sacral monuments in Poland. One of the highlights is the pipe organ which has moving figurines when played. Then transfer to Wolfschanze/The Wolf’s Lair in Gierloz the huge concrete bunkers of the Hitler’s headquarters, where in july 1944 colonel Claus von Stauffenberg carried out anunsuccessfull assassination attempt on Hitler. Dinner and overnight in the Hotel Bartis in Bartoszyce.
6th Day
Masuria distric
After breakfast leisure time. Folkoredinner with live music in bartoszyce.
7th Day
Masuria ditrict – Poznań
After breakfast transfer to Olsztyn, the capital of Warmia - Masuria, after short sightseeing drive to Poznań, the capital city of the historic Wielkopolska region known as the cradle of the Polish state established here in the 10th century. Check in, dinner and overnight.
8th Day
