Biking Holiday in Masuria

TRIP SCHEDULE

First day Arrival in Warsaw / Warszawa

Meeting with Aktiv Tours Resien guide at the reception desk in Europejski hotel. (Extra charge of 12 EURO per person for the transfer Airport-hotel) At 15.30 departure to Szczytno. Overnight in Szczytno.

Second day - Szczytno

Bicycle ride around the Walpusza and marksoby Lakes in the neighbourhood of Szczytno (45km). The route will lead you through the woods where you can encounter many bird spcies. Overnight in Szczytno.

Third day - Szczytno/Mragowo

Bicycle ride to Mragowo (65km). You will ride along many lakes (Walpusza, Marksoby, Biale). Overnight in Mragowo.

Fourth day

Bicycle ride to Krutyn, where you will be taken on a boatride on the Krutynia river. Afterwards you will ride to Wojnowo to visit an old Orthodox-Philipon cloister. Overnight in Mragowo (65km)

Fifth day- Mragowo - Gizycko, Wilkasy

Bikeride along the great Masurian Lakes (55km). Overnight in Gizycko/Wilkasy.

Sixth day- Gizycko / Wilkasy

All day trip along the Mamry lake (60km). Ride to Wegorzewo. Shipcruise to Gizycko (3 hours). Overnight in Gizycko/Wilkasy.

Seventh day - Wilkasy / Orzysz

Bicycleride to Orzysz, along the Niegocin and Jagodne lakes, and then across the field and forrest routes to Cierzpiety and Orzysz. Overnight in Orzysz.

Eighth day - Orzysz / Warszawa

Early morning transfer to Warsaw. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight in Warsaw.

Ninth day - Warszawa

Breakfast in Warszawa. Sightseeing in the Warsaw Old Town - with an englishspaking guide. (Transfer to the airport - on request)
On request; extra overnight in Warsaw in a ***Hotel from 45 EURO per person".
